Dr. Malia Hite is the Executive Educator Licensing Coordinator for the Utah State Board of Education. She worked in a variety of schools, districts, universities, and state educational organizations focusing on educator preparation, special education, and mathematics. She completed her BA in mathematics at the University of California-Santa Barbara, her MAT in educational technology at National University, and her doctorate in educational leadership at George Fox University. Dr. Hite has spent more than 20 years in public education working in California, Oregon, Missouri, and now Utah; she taught math, music, technology, special education and English as a Second Language.
